3 Mpillow benefits explained with KH Poon Physiotherapy
A short summary to the 1-hour long video on zoom
We had a zoom talk with the founder of KHPoon Physiotherapy, Mr. Poon to have a chat with Mpillow regarding getting proper sleep and to discuss the top 3 benefits of having a good pillow.
Shape
The secret to having a good sleep, or that makes a pillow comfortable is the shape of the pillow.
It might look like an odd shape when you see it at first, however, this is based on the study we made before design our pillow.
This pillow allows you to sleep on both the side and on the back comfortably!
Secondly, we made mini pillow fillings packs to be arranged in our 3 compartment pillow sections to create the height of the pillow when sleep on the side, and curvature support when sleeping on the back.
You can refer to them here:
It is mainly not the type of fabric that lets you have a good sleep, but mainly the ergonomics of the pillow that suits your body structure. Types of fabric only play a small part in this.
If you compare traditional pillows, they do not give you the support you actually need due to the difference in body profiles. For some people, it might be too high to sleep on, for some its too low, some too soft and some too firm. The pillows that are adjustable in the market are messy, and could not be measured to how much adjustments are needed.
For Mpillow, we want to make it a point to suit our pillow to our clients. And to make it better, they can have the flexibility to adjust it themselves easily.
Washing the Mpillow
Because our pillow comes in different components, you can clean them easily. We take hygiene very seriously as well, as you know that traditional pillows do not have any form of prevention for dust, bacteria and mites. Mpillow 4 layers of the component also act and 4 layers of protection for the fillings. You can wash every single component you have in Mpillow. Please have a look at the video here to understand more about our wash care guide.
How do I know what pillow size is suitable for me?
All you need to do is just to measure your shoulder length, from the tip of your shoulder bone to the other tip of your shoulder bone. So the difference with the sizes is where you get comfort when you sleep.
The Length of one shoulder is the Height in which you need when sleeping on the side. That is the main difference.
Too high or too low will cause strains on your neck.
It is also the same for the back as well.
